How do objects acquire meaning?
Object or Not Object began with exactly this question. Then another followed: When we look at an object from a different angle, does the meaning it carries change too?
To us, objects are more than just things. They gain meaning through their function and form, through the relationships we build with them, and through the moments, encounters and stories they become part of.
Over time, an object can become something else. It can be part of a game, an evening spent around the same table, a memory, or simply something we enjoy looking at. We love this transformation—the way objects enter different lives, form new relationships and take on new meanings over time.
But we don't believe every object has to mean something. Sometimes an object is simply an object. Choosing to give it meaning—or not—is entirely up to us.
Object or Not Object is an ever-changing space open to play, curiosity and different ways of seeing. A place to rethink our relationship with objects, or sometimes simply spend time with them without thinking about it at all.
Thank you for being part of this beautiful mess.
